Students project explains the CGI process at Mackevision

Students of Online Media Management at Stuttgart Media University (Hochschule der Medien) filmed the CGI production process at Mackevision.

As part of a project in Prof. Dr.-Ing. Krešimir Vidačković’s lectures in “Media Production 2” several students of Stuttgart Media University (Hochschule der Medien) were able to take a look behind the scenes of Mackevision. The task was to create a multimedia contribution about trends in online media based on the three cornerstones Management, Technology and Media & Content. By using text, images and videos, the students had to present their results in an attractive and modern approach.

As a competent partner in CGI, animation and visual effects, Mackevision supported the students in their project. The students recorded a CGI production tour at Mackevision’s offices and interviewed CGI experts.

The results are these two videos and this website.

Students involved:
Anna Baisch (project lead, organization, conception, website, photo editing)
Tobias Ganitz (camera, lighting, cut)
Dominic Gerundt (camera, lighting)
Klaudia Hasim (organization, conception, Sound, editorial work)
